With over 100 indoor and outdoor activities available to our guests, we offer a wide range of roles within the leisure division. Our focus is on delivering a quality experience that guests will remember. From Team Member to Manager, we have a range of roles within the division and can offer opportunities to develop your career or progress with the one you’re on. Both full and part-time contracts are available.

 

 

Working in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise is a little different to your typical pool environment. With the pool heated to a toasty 29.5c all year round and decked with plants and trees, you will feel like you have escaped to a tropical island.

Lifeguard

What you can expect

Nestled in the heart of our forest you will find the centrepiece of Center Parcs, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise. Open from 10am to 9pm daily the huge pool area includes a toddler pool, wave pool, whirlpools and exciting rides and flumes as well as wild water rapids.

This is a diverse lifeguarding role, there are many areas within the Subtropical Swimming Paradise where you will work - from monitoring and supervising the rapids and slides, through to manning the customer service desk, so there’s lots of variety. Pool and slide checks, cleaning and general housekeeping will also be expected. And, of course, there will be lots of guest interaction.

Qualifications

Our qualified lifeguards are expected to join us with a valid NPLQ in place. However, we do offer trainee opportunities several times each year, where no experience is required, and we’ll support you to gain your qualification. 

Hours

The pool is open from 10am until 9pm each day and we can offer both full and part-time contracts, with shifts worked on a rota basis.

Lifeguard

Leisure Booking Advisor

What you can expect

As the first point of contact for any leisure queries, whether you’re meeting and greeting guests at the booking desk or assisting with leisure facilities and equipment, you will focus on making sure their chosen activities run as smoothly as possible.

Skills and experience

This is a key frontline role, requiring excellent communication skills and is ideally suited to someone with previous customer service experience.

Hours

We offer both full and part-time contracts with shifts worked on a rota basis.

Cycle Mechanic

What you can expect

With a fleet of 3,000 cycles, our Cycle Centre is a thriving hub and a key part of the Center Parcs experience. This is a practical, customer facing role, where you’ll ensure our fleet of cycle are safe and ready to hire out to our guests.

Skills and experience

Excellent customer service and communication skills are required and a cycle maintenance qualification would be an advantage. 

Hours

We offer both full and part-time contracts, with shifts worked on a rota basis.

Outdoor Instructor

What you can expect

We have many leisure activities available to our guests, from Crazy Golf and Laser Combat, through to exciting Aerial Adventures. Each outdoor activity comes alive with great customer service and instruction, which is where our Instructors come in. Whatever activity our guests choose, you’ll be there to keep them smiling and safe throughout.

Skills and experience

You’ll have excellent customer service and communication skills and previous experience working within an outdoor activities environment will be an advantage.

Hours

We offer both full and part-time contracts with some seasonal contracts available.

Activity Leader

What you can expect

Outgoing and enthusiastic?! This is a fun and rewarding role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of a range of entertaining family based activities.

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will have a naturally outgoing and enthusiastic personality with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Hours

We offer both full and part-time contracts with shifts worked on a rota basis.

Childcare

What you can expect

Different from a traditional nursery, our Activity Den provides childcare sessions for guests aged from 0-11, offering a range of energetic and creative activities in a regulated, safe and happy environment. One day you could be donning a pirate patch and on the next you could be hosting a superhero party, so it’s a diverse role where each shift will be an adventure.

Skills and experience

You’ll be naturally cheerful, friendly and approachable, plus hold a relevant childcare qualification. Full details for qualifications required will be displayed in our adverts.
