We offer two options for colleagues wanting to donate to charity through their pay – we know that some people have specific causes they choose to support, and others simply want to give back in whatever way they can.
Direct donations
Colleagues can donate through www.charitablegiving.co.uk, where they can donate to a charity of their choice directly through their payroll.
Center Parcs Employees' Charitable Fund
The Center Parcs Employees’ Charitable Fund has been in operation since 1985, with the aim of supporting charities locally, nationally and globally. Each of our villages (and our Head Office) has an Employee Council made up of a number of elected representatives from various areas of the business. We encourage our colleagues to propose charities or local projects to the Employee Council and the Council will decide how to allocate the funds at regular intervals. The donation rate for colleagues is fixed at 0.25% of gross pay – we currently have more than 500 colleagues contributing to the Center Parcs Employees’ Charitable Fund. Over the last 12 months, the fund has donated more than £25,000 to charitable causes.
Both routes of donation are subject to tax relief and are optional for all employees.
