Head Office

 

Our Head Office support functions operate out of our headquarters located in North Nottinghamshire. The Head Office roles work closely with our six villages across the UK and our village in Ireland, all working together with the same values and goals to make sure our guests have the best break possible.

 

Contact Centre

Overview

The people that know it all! The Contact Centre is the home to colleagues who handle all incoming bookings and guest queries before, during and after their stay with us. From Operatives to Managers, you will deal with enquiries from as simple as what’s included in the accommodation through to booking amendments and cancellations.

Qualifications and Experience

No formal qualifications are required for the majority of roles within this department. However, all Operatives need to display excellent communication and customer service skills, a degree of patience and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Human Resources

Overview

Our Head Office HR team comprises the following functions; Generalist HR, Resourcing, Reward and Benefits, Learning & Development and HR Shared Services. These functions work collaboratively to ensure that our people strategy is aligned to the organisational objectives. As part of the HR team you will also support and advise our HR teams on the villages and monitor the HR requirements for the wider Head Office team.

Qualifications and Experience

Relevant experience within the chosen area will be required, and great customer service skills are key as most roles will have a high degree of employee interaction - both face to face and through written communication.

Sales & Marketing

Overview

This is one of the largest teams within our Head Office operation. They’re involved in all aspects of the business, from projecting sales and merchandising retail stores right through to making sure our guests experience a first-class digital journey when booking online. When you join the Sales & Marketing team, you will be working alongside artworkers, digital media executives, brand specialists and web developers - to name just a few.

Qualifications and Experience

The experience and qualifications are very much dependent on the role. We offer junior positions, senior level opportunities - and everything in between. Working at Center Parcs is a great opportunity to gain experience with a big named brand, or develop your existing skills for those with more experience.

IT

Overview

Our IT department is responsible for managing the technology and services that keep our systems running smoothly - from online bookings to the ordering of stock. Positions within this large team vary from Testers and Technicians to Project Managers and Scrum Masters.

Qualifications and Experience

Finance

Overview

Are you good with numbers? Our Finance team is involved with every element of Head Office and village activity, safeguarding our assets and operating appropriate controls. Working in the Finance team, you will work closely with different teams across the business and deal with suppliers, monitoring budgets, spending, and setting financial targets for each of our six villages. Positions within this team range from Assistants and Accountants, through to senior level opportunities.

Legal/ Health & safety

Overview

A significant division making sure we are compliant across all areas of the business. The team covers Legal, Insurance and Health and Safety, bringing hefty knowledge and experience to advise on our legal obligations and responsibilities. Development

Overview

An exciting function of the business, this team looks at how Center Parcs can grow and develop. The remit of this team is the planning, design and construction of new developments and the maintenance and refurbishment of existing buildings and infrastructure. Could you see yourself planning a new restaurant or refurbishing our older lodges in a forest of up to 400 acres?

Overview

There’s always something happening in this team. You will be part of managing the performance of our villages, ensuring sales and profit targets are achieved and consistently delivering high quality product and service. The team is split into different divisions consisting of: Leisure, Spa, Food & Beverage, Retail and Accommodation Services.

Procurement

Overview

As you can imagine, with six villages to procure for, a job in this department will certainly keep you busy. We operate contracts for every facet of the business, from breweries and food service providers, through to machinery and equipment. Whatever level you join us at, from Assistant to Category Manager, joining this team would certainly allow you to gain solid experience within a large multi-site company.
